Fletchwind Kickstarter

My friend Hilander is publishing a zine.

It is called Fletchwind.  It is a city supplement for Cairn.

You can click the link to read more about the contents: cities, city generators, character backgrounds, and no less than 3 urban adventures, including one by me.  The adventures are nice because they're relatively neutral.  They can be dropped in or stripped for parts.  (Steal my keyrat!  Take it.)

There's also some excellent art by Wuggy, which reminds me that I really should go back and beat Darkest Dungeon.  (Surely it wasn't as hard as I am remembering now.)

One of the more interesting parts is an article by Phlox, which discusses pre-modern urban relationships.

DMs are merchants of the bizarre, but we also function well when we can insert some foreign culture or mindset into our games in an organic, functional way.  This works well with historic cultures because those are real cultures that our ancestors followed.  Things like patronage, heresy, and guilds are already plausible, so all that's left is to make them fun.

Side Note: Lair of the Lamb One-Shot

Directsun has converted Lair of the Lamb into a one-shot, by cutting out the second half of the dungeon and simplifying a few other things.  You can check that out >>>HERE<<<.
