Clearly Dungeon eels end up in caves from somewhere else, like they are inter-planar travelers or something. The phrase "glass eel" is also hellza evocative.Gus Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14872819206286105195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4754170279177021419.post-63551693835872458542014-12-17T23:48:34.816-08:002014-12-17T23:48:34.816-08:00Thinking about Eels - Why is this fish so weird?
...Thinking about Eels - Why is this fish so weird?

Well the best eels are ambush predators, and most eels are top of the food chain types. I can't see an eel not in water being anything other then an ambush predator. But really the eel is kinda a really well designed for the space it lives creature.

Now notable things about eels is that their blood is toxic to a lot of things, but they are still tasty beasts. Moray eels are also thought to hunt cooperatively, and their bodies are covered in mucus that is sometimes, maybe toxic, though I guess it's mostly to build burrows or something. Not sure where this leads, but I trust you can figure something out. Clearly dungeon eels are operating in the ethereal, darting through the air, otherwise they would have a bunch of centipede legs - also they are clearly poisonous, slimy and work together.Gus Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14872819206286105195noreply@blogger.com
